New boards are published at exactly 00:00 UTC every day. Depending on where you live, this might be in the evening or morning. Check our live countdown above to see exactly when the next set arrives!
Can I play the daily challenge on my phone?
Absolutely. Patches is designed to be fully responsive. You can solve your daily puzzles on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop. The experience is optimized for touch controls as well as mouse clicks.
Is the daily board the same for everyone?
Yes! Every player across the globe gets the same puzzle for each grid size. This makes the leaderboard fair and competitive, as everyone is working against the same logical constraints.
What happens if I miss a day?
If you miss a day, your streak for that specific grid size will reset to zero. However, you can always visit the Archive to play the puzzle you missed, though it won't count toward your active streak.
